First Cruise of 2022

ree

To kick off the new year, I spent the first week of 2022 onboard Royal Caribbean's Liberty

of the Seas. This was my first cruise since June of 2019. It did feel a little weird getting back on the high seas, especially with all of the new Covid-19 protocols. However, I felt very safe with the new procedures and I still enjoyed the cruise.

The first Port-of-Call was the island of Roatan, Honduras. This small island is home to many tropical plants and animals, as well as many beautiful beaches. However, I spent less than one hour on the Island and most of my time was spent just walking the streets at

my own pace. This was probably the best choice given the crowds and the current situation with Covid-19.

The next two ports of call were Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico. Both of these ports are home to gorgeous coastlines with crystal clear water and stunning natural marine ecosystems.

I will create separate posts about this trip in the coming days. One will be a review of my experience on the ship and the other will be about my experience in both Costa Maya and Cozumel. I hope you enjoy them!
